Description The Housing Authority of DeKalb County operates a wide variety of programs that are designed to provide housing solutions to DeKalb County residents, and promote community and economic development.- Mission: To provide sustainable and affordable housing as a platform to enhance lives These programs all lead to HADC’s achievement of these goals:

-Scattered Sites – currently 28 units that HADC has purchased throughout the county and provides for low-incomeresidents at an affordable rental rate (As of March 26, 2014)
-Collaborative, Community Based Programs- -PTS Consulting Group (PTS) – an affiliated non-profit that offers affordable housing consulting services.
-Housing Development Corporation- –also an affiliate of HADC, offering affordable housing solutions to Dekalb County and Georgia residents. Established in 1988.
-Resident Services Corporation –another non-profit, created in 2013, which uses “community-based problem solving and neighborhood-oriented strategies to promote self-reliance and self-sufficiency.” It focuses mainly on “human development.”
